SKIN CONSULTATION

The consultation is such an important part of your aesthetics treatment. It gives us the opportunity to build rapport, but also addresses any concerns you may have. They are detailed, thorough and informative, and the first step in your journey with us.

Before your appointment a detailed medical history form will be emailed to you. This will be reviewed before your appointment, and gives us an idea of what treatments (if any had before), your concerns and goals, but also any operations or medical conditions you may have.  This will be discussed further during the consultation.

When you come in a full facial assessment is performed and the ageing process discussed.  We assess the face as a whole- not just looking at individual lines or wrinkles.  A comprehensive facial assessment begins with listening to your concerns and goals.

Assessing your facial thirds and fifths, looking at proportions and balance of the face and looking for any asymmetry. A treatment plan is prepared to harmonise and balance your face, that will give you the best aesthetic results, while enhancing your natural and finest features.  This treatment plan is specific to you, your anatomy and will address your treatment goals.  During this consultation you can ask questions, we encourage you to bring your list of questions and concerns in.

We will give you all the information you need to make an informed decision. An individualised treatment plan is prepared and all the information about the treatment, treatment risks, cost of the treatment, what to expect, and any pre-care instructions and post care instructions will also be discussed.

If you are unsure what treatment would best address your concerns, or are confused about your options, the first step is to make your consultation to meet with us. You can make this appointment by booking on line. There is no obligation to have a treatment but if you do want one on the day, please add a treatment service to this consultation- so there is enough time to do both. All new patients need to have a consultation first, before any treatment.

On the day of the treatment, you will be given the opportunity to speak with a doctor and ask them any questions.  They will also review your medical history and approve your treatment and prepare your prescription. This prescription is valid for 12 months.  They are available 24 hours a day and are a great support for any post care or in the unlikely event of any complications. They too also send your post care instructions with their contact details.
